Online Auditions for the Nutcracker 2022
Roles
Please note that we are considering auditions from everyone.
The recommendations serve as a guideline only.
Rehearsals
DETAILS TO BE ANNOUNCED
Rehearsals will be held on Sundays between Sept 18th and November 27th.
If cast, you will not be needed at all rehearsals; however, it should be understood that:
- Lead Roles (Clara, Sugar Plum, Drosselmeyer, Nutcracker, and Rat King) will be required to commit to all Sunday rehearsals, 2 Saturday rehearsals, dress rehearsals and performances.
- All other performers must commit to a minimum of 3 – 6 rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and performance dates.
- Must be available from Dec 1st-4th for film shoots and performances.
Please note that additional rehearsals may be necessary.
Costs
If you are selected for a role, fees may apply, including:
- Costume fee: $25 (per costume)
- Student Performer fee: $20
Audition Application
In-Person Auditions:
Where: St Paul & District Arts Foundation (4822 50th Ave, St Paul AB)
When: September 11th, 2022
6-8 yrs old 12-12:30 pm 9-11 yrs old 12:30-1 pm 12-14 yrs old 1:15-1:45pm 15+ yrs old 2-2:30pm
If you are unable to come In-Person:
Before beginning the form below, please ensure that you have done the following:
- have a headshot photo file ready to upload
- have a link to your audition video (Youtube or Vimeo)
